Brush fire flares in East Austin
Heavy smoke dissipates off Ed Bluestein Road

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A brush fire flared near East Martin Luther King Boulevard and Ed Bluestein Road on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was in a densely wooded area and was belching thick black smoke around 3:30 p.m. The smoke was dissipating about an hour later.
There was no immediate word on whether structures were affected.
