AUSTIN (KXAN) - Texas opened spring practice Thursday with a pledge to speed up the offense.

It's not a new offense, according to Mack Brown, just a new speed. "Tempo" is the buzz word for the Longhorns this spring. And Brown says a faster pace on offense will also benefit the Longhorns' defense.

For more from Brown's press conference previewing spring practice, watch the video above.
