San Antonio - Upon the team's arrival in San Antonio, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones and head coach Wade Phillips talked about their excitement to start preparation for the 2009 NFL season.

The talk centered around quarterback Tony Romo's preparations in the offseason and the new Cowboys Stadium.

"I think our team will play to the level of the new stadium," Jones said. "I think there's an inspiration there. I have those expectations."

Phillips discussed the need to move on from how the team ended the 2008 regular season-- losing to the Philadelphia Eagles and being eliminated from the playoffs at the same time.

"We're ready," he said. "It's time. Let's get going. It's football time. I think we've been waiting around. We've been knocked down some last year, and we're going to get back up. And we're going to get back up fighting. I think our team knows that."
