AUSTIN(KXAN) - The 3rd ranked Longhorns knocked off Western Carolina 73-41 on Wednesday night at the Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Texas held the Catamounts to just over 26% shooting from the field.
Senior Damion James led the Longhorns with 18 points and 7 rebounds while Gary Johnson, J'Covan Brown and Varez Ward each scored 10 points. Texas has allowed just 83 total points in their first two games.
Longhorns travel to Kansas City, Missouri for the semifinals of the O'Reily's Auto Parts Classic against Iowa on Monday night.
