Longhorns' Kindle in car accident

AUSTIN - Longhorns senior linebacker Sergio Kindle suffered a minor head injury in a car accident early Wednesday morning in the 2700 block of Rio Grande.

His attorney, Brian Roark said Kindle was sending a text message at approximately 1:50 A.M. Wednesday morning, when he lost control of his car and swerved off the road, running his car into a nearby apartment building.

Other than Kindle's aforementioned minor head injury, there were no other injuries, and police have not pressed charges.

Roark said Kindle contacted him later that day and told the apartment complex Kindle would pay for the damages, which are estimated at $5,000.
