Garrido to plead guilty to DWI charge

Suspended from four UT baseball games

AUSTIN (KXAN) - UT baseball coach Augie Garrido, plans to plead guilty to his DWI charge Monday at 10:30 a.m., according to his attorney Roy Minton. Garrido was arrested Jan. 17 for driving without his headlights on.

Last week, Garrido apologized for the mistake, saying he violated the mission of the university. After that apology, the University suspended him for four games.

The coach should be back on the field Feb. 24 against UT Arlington.
