Smithson Valley allows just two hits in win

San Marcos, Texas - Smithson Valley pitcher Derek Moczygemba threw a two-hit complete game shutout in the Rangers' 7-0 win over Westlake Friday.

Westlake infielder Miles Hanson broke up Moczygemba's no-hitter in the sixth inning, but the Chaps could only manage one more hit in the game.

Game two is scheduled for Saturday at noon at Texas State's baseball field in San Marcos.
