Cedar Park, Georgetown advance to state

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Cedar Park High School and Georgetown High School will represent Austin at the state championships this week at Cowboys Stadium.

The undefeated Eagles defeated Rouse 42-14 in the state semifinals and will face Denton-Guyer noon on Dec. 22 for a 4A-Division I state title.

Cedar Park will go for the title in 4A-Division II. The Timberwolves beat Manor 40-14 to advance to play Lancaster in the state championship at Dec. 21 at 8 pm.

In 5A Westlake lost on a last second field goal to Cedar Hill 31-28.
