AUSTIN (KXAN) - Anderson sank 12 free throws in the final minutes of its regional quarterfinal game against Pflugerville to come away with a 67-56 win to advance to the regional tournament.
Pflugerville took its first lead of the game on a half-court, buzzer-beater from Darian Bostick to make it 48-47 at the end of the third quarter. Bostick finished with 12 points.
The Trojans were able to tie the game at 51 early in the fourth quarter before regaining the lead. Pflugerville pulled to within two points before Anderson sealed the win from the charity stripe.
The regional tournament begins Friday at Waco Midway High School.
