Pflugerville - The Lady Panthers basketball team has literally a tall order on Friday night when they face Houston Nimitz in the state semifinal. One of the Nimitz players is 6'8" Brittney Griner, an All-American and a Baylor recruit who is best known for her ability to dunk.

Lady Panthers sophomore post player Nneka Enemkpali said she had been looking forward to facing Griner since before the season began. She said she got the news that she would get her wish from Lady Panthers coach Nancy Walling.

"I was asleep when she first called me," Enemkpali said. "But when she told me we were playing Nimitz, I was awake after that."

Enemkpali is 6'1" and said she is excited for the challenge.

"Every time someone says [Griner] is going to dunk on me, I get this rush of adrenaline go through me and I get so excited because I'm waiting for Friday to come."

The last time the Pflugerville girls played in the state tournament was in 2005. The Lady Panthers have never won a state title, but they will have to go through Griner and Nimitz to make it happen.
