AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) -- Almost 17 years after the yogurt shop murders were committed, Wednesday afternoon, protesters plan to rally outside of the Travis County courthouse to support the men on trial for the crime.
The men, Michael Scott and Robert Springsteen, are being re-tried in the case.
An appeals court overturned their convictions for the 1991 murders of four girls at the I Can't Believe It's Yogurt shop off West Anderson Lane.
The picketers are schduled to meet outside the courthouse at the same time a pre-trial hearing is taking place.
Scott and Springsteen will be tried separately.
Scott's trial is still scheduled for later this month.
