Austin, Texas (KXAN) -- A North Texas teacher is on paid leave Wednesday, accused of helping a 17-year-old student get a tattoo.
Frisco school officials said math teacher Brancy Jumper, 33, has taught in the district for seven years.
The boy's mother claimed the teacher went with the teen to get the tattoo on his back.
State health officials are reviewing whether the person who created the tattoo is licensed and used proper sanitary conditions.
Jumper could not be reached for comment.
