Gun confiscated at McCallum High School

AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) - A McCallum High School student is in trouble after officials confiscated a gun that he had brought onto campus Wednesday.

A  letter from the principal describing the incident was sent home to parents. The letter states that no threats were made.

The student has been removed from campus, and "appropriate legal and disciplinary action will be taken."

This case is still under investigation.
