AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) -- The details of an investigation surrounding inappropriate contact between a Del Valle teacher and student have been released.

An investigation ensued after a student said a teacher hugged her inappropriately, and the principal at the school, Jean MacInnis, decided to place that teacher on leave to investigate the incident.

The district initially requested permission from the Texas Attorney General's Office to withhold further information about the incident but has recently released more details in response to a ruling fron the Attorney General's Office.

The female student reported to administrators that she felt uncomfortable after her teacher put his arm around her, pulled her to him, squeezed her and said that he'd "hadn't had a hug like that in forever."

She also reported that the teacher said, "You're looking good."  The investigation ensued after her report of the inappropriate comments and gestures.

Some students told district administrators during the investigation that the teacher stared at his female students' chests and behinds. Meanwhile, other students said they had not noticed the teacher starting in such a manner.

The teacher resigned at the end of the 2007-08 school year and has not been charged with a crime.
