Crews adding bike lanes near Zilker Park

AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) -- Construction started Monday along Barton Springs Road near Zilker Park. Crews are working on the five-foot bicycle lanes along both sides of the road.

They'll be out there from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day.

The project is scheduled to be complete in early December before the Trail of Lights in the park.

Work will be suspended during Austin City Limits this September.
