ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - Round Rock ISD and the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation proudly team up with Scott and White Healthcare of Round Rock to provide free school supplies to students who qualify for the federally funded free and reduced lunch program.

The district is seeking volunteers to help package and distribute supplies at this fun and fulfilling event. Volunteers must be 18 or older and must sign up online.

The Partners in Education Foundation is also accepting donations to help purchase supplies for the nearly 13,000 students who qualify for the 13th Annual School Supplies Drive. Donations can be made online or sent in by check to the Partners in Education Foundation at 595 Round Rock West, Suite 404, Round Rock, Texas 78681.

The Foundation is hosting an "Adopt-a-School" and "Support a Student" program.  Big or small, all donations help to provide those students who qualify for the federally funded free and reduced lunch program with a bag of basic school supplies for the 2012-2013 school year.

Any other questions about how to help with this event contact Marianne Reap, foundation executive director, at (512) 464-5602.
