MARBLE FALLS, Texas (KXAN) - Damp weather turned to drenching rains in the Hill Country Monday morning.
KXAN's meteorologists say a strong cold front is moving through our area, bringing cold temperatures, rain and wind.
The rapidly changing weather is already impacting motorists on the main highways. They're driving more cautiously and have their windshield wipers working at top speed.
However, worse weather is on the way.
Late Tuesday and early Wednesday, our forecasters say folks in the Hill Country could see flurries and near freezing temperatures.
This could mean breaking out a thick coat, hat and scarf.
No snow is expected to accumulate.
The storm system is slated to move past West Texas by Wednesday.
