Straus names three to finance, two vice chairs

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Reps. Larry Gonzales, R-Round Rock, Donna Howard, D-Austin, and Dawnna Dukes, D-Austin, will represent Central Texas on the House Appropriations Committee this session.
Among other appointments, House Speaker Joe Straus named Howard vice chair of House Administration and Rep. Jason Isaac, R-Dripping Springs, vice chair of Rules and Resolutions. Rep. Doug Miller, R-New Braunfels, is vice chair of of the House Committee on Special Districts. Rep. Mark Strama is on the Ways & Means Committee.
