AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst is amending his past financial filings and will disclose new information about his assets.
The Texas Republican has drawn fire for revealing scant details about his vast wealth.
On Friday, Dewhurst released two corrected financial statements covering his filings for 2007 and 2008. The new disclosures show Dewhurst holds a stake in several investments funds, including assets managed by Goldman Sachs and the TCP Investment Fund II LP.
He was expected to file the statements Friday with the Texas Ethics Commission.
Travis
County prosecutors had been reviewing a formal complaint
against Dewhurst for failing to release more information about his
holdings.
