ROBERT LEE, Texas (AP) — A former polygamist group member is expected back on the stand as prosecutors seek to wrap up their case in the West Texas trial of an ex-bishop.

Fredrick Merril Jessop is accused of marrying a 12-year-old girl to group leader Warren Jeffs. Jessop is charged with performing an illegal wedding at a ranch owned by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Rebecca Musser, who's an ex-FLDS member and a former wife of its late leader Rulon Jeffs, Warren Jeffs' father, is expected to continue testifying Thursday in Robert Lee.

The San Angelo Standard-Times reports the defense has challenged whether Musser is an expert on church records.

Jeffs in August was convicted and sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting two of his child brides.
