DENTON (AP) - A Denton registered sex offender is accused of stalking a woman who responded to his online advertisement seeking a lead singer for a Christian band.
Jeremy Daniel Wicker, 31, was arrested Thursday on charges of harassment and making a terroristic threat.
A 21-year-old woman told police that Wicker asked her to call him last week to arrange an audition, then sent her more than 50 sexually explicit and threatening messages.
Wicker was in the Denton city jail Friday, but no information was available on whether he had an attorney who could comment on
his behalf.
Wicker recently reached a plea deal on a third-degree felony charge of online solicitation of a 14-year-old, according to court
records.
