Rally outside Capitol for healthcare

AUSTIN, TEXAS (KXAN) - A rally was held outside the State Capitol Saturday in support of a health care reform bill being debated in Washington.

"We won't stand for anything but genuine reform," said Rep. Lloyd Doggett .

Representative Lloyd Doggett spoke to the sign-toting crowd.  Doggett was one of the House members who voted to pass the controversial measure last Saturday.

Today's rally drew people from around central Texas, hoping to have their voices heard in support of health care reform.

The liberal activist group MoveOn organized today's rally at the Capitol.
