Funeral set for Constable Bachmann

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KXAN) - Service arrangements have been announced for Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann, the officer killed on Monday when a gunman opened fire in a home near the Texas A&M campus.

Bachmann was serving an eviction notice when the incident exploded into nearly 30 minutes of gunfire exchange.

The viewing service is on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church , located at 4201 State Highway 6 South.

The funeral will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Reed Arena on the campus of Texas A&M University.

Both services are open to the public for those wishing to pay respects to the constable and offer condolences to his family.
