AUSTIN (KXAN) - How many times have you turned to your friend or co-worker and said something like, “Oh my gosh! Did you see Rick Perry in that debate? The one where he forgot stuff?”
Wouldn't it have been easier to show them instead?
Now a handful of smartphone apps are available to help you out.
First, try the “Oops” app for iPhone. Officially labeled “Oops: What's that third agency again?,” this app allows the user to re-live Perry's blunder from the Nov. 9 CNBC GOP presidential debate.
“Three agencies of government when I get there that are gone,” Perry said. “Commerce, education, and... Oops. What's that third agency again?"
Users can listen to each individual line over and over and even rearrange their order.
If that's not enough, check out the “Presidential Debate” app complete with a sound board of the same debate flub. This app also includes input from the debate moderator and chuckles from fellow Texas candidate Ron Paul. The latest version even adds Herman Cain's audio about his vision for Libya.
A string of other iPhone apps aim for more practical uses.
One features a Perry map tracker to find out where he has stopped on the campaign trail. Another lists most video interviews, speeches, and campaign ads in an archive section.
One other for iPhone shows previous poll numbers so you can keep up with his fluctuating support as he heads into the final 28 days before the first vote in the nation – the Iowa Caucus.
All apps are free and are listed below:
