AUSTIN (KXAN) — Congressman Ron Paul is adding events in Austin to his schedule on Thursday, including an appearance on KXAN News at noon.

Events will also include a town hall-style meeting at the University of Texas at Austin and a fundraising appearance in the city.

Paul, who represents a congressional district in Southeast Texas, is keeping his hope for the Republican presidential nomination alive even as the party establishment is beginning to coalesce around frontrunner Mitt Romney, a former governor of Massachusetts .

Despite not winning any of this year's primaries or caucuses, Paul retains an enthusiastic following and drew large crowds on recent appearances in his home state, his campaign says.

If you have a question you'd like KXAN to ask Paul during his appearance in the the studio on Thursday, submit it in the Facebook comments section below this report.

The Texas primary is May 29.
