KXAN Reporter Chris Sadeghi, has been a part of the team since April 2010.

His first experience in news happened just a few blocks away from the KXAN studios where he worked for the student-run campus television station as a University of Texas student.

Since that time he has worked in Sherman, Wichita, and San Antonio before returning to Austin.  During his career, Chris has been on the scene for several big stories and events.

He was one of the first reporters to arrive in Bastrop to cover the devastating fires in September 2011 and he has been in the middle of the storm for four different gulf coast hurricanes.

In addition to his regular news reporting, Chris is a sports fan who has covered a Super Bowl, World Series, NCAA Final Four, and BCS National Title Game.

Outside of his job, the Longhorn alum is a die-hard orangeblood, an avid outdoorsman, and a dog-lover with a soft spot for dachshunds.
