How did you get started in TV?
I was hooked in second grade! During Career Day, a broadcast journalist detailed the profession to a bunch of wide-eyed kids, and the next day I told my mom that's what I was going to be.

St. Mary's University in San Antonio

What's your favorite thing about Austin?
Wearing flip-flops in the winter.

Who has been the most influential person in your life? Why?
My mom without a doubt. My father passed away when I was 3 years old. My mom raised me single-handedly. She's the strongest person I know.
