What was your most memorable story?
I took part in the Military Firefighter Combat Challenge for a story in San Angelo. We had to carry a hose up six flights of stairs, hammer a 100-pound cinderblock, and drag a 150-pound dummy. Needless to say, I did not make the team, but it was a lot of fun.

How did you get started in TV?
I was an engineering major at Texas A&M, but after a year in the field, I decided to get into sales. While working at WFAA in Dallas, I put together the sports resume tape that landed me my first job at KSAN in San Angelo.
