When did you start at KXAN?
July 2008

What was your most memorable story?
I got to cover these kittens who were abandoned by a family. After my story was published, all the kittens were adopted, which really made me feel like I helped.

How did you get started in TV?
This job actually. I worked on the television station during college, but my job at KXAN is my first professional job in television.

Where did you go to college?
Emerson College and the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em!)

What's your hometown?
Plano, Texas

What's your favorite thing about Austin?
I love how there's something for everyone here

What's your guilty pleasure?
Really bad reality television

How would you like to make a difference?
I would love to help people in their time of need

What's your favorite band or musician?
Oasis was my favorite band. As for local music, I really love Nelo's sound.

What's your favorite movie?
Seven Year Itch

What's your favorite TV show?
Right now it's a tie between The Office and LOST

What's your favorite food?
I could eat hot wings everyday if my waistband allowed me!

What's your family like?
I'm currently engaged to a wonderful man, David. My beagle mix, Milo, keeps me company also.
