AUSTIN (KXAN) - As a part of a statewide campaign, Workforce Solutions Capital Area is partnering with the city of Austin, the Austin Convention Center, the Texas Workforce Commission, the Texas Veterans Commission and Gov. Rick Perry to hold a job fair for veterans.

"Red, White and You!" is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 15 at each of the 28 Workforce Development Boards in Texas. It is free and open to all Texas veterans and employers.

This event marks a first-of-its-kind statewide employment effort in hopes of serving those who have served our country.

To help prepare local job seekers for the event, Workforce Solutions Capital Area is also hosting four free Veterans Workshops at our North Office located at 6505 Airport Blvd., Ste 101-A.

A list of participating employers, more information and the Veterans Workshop schedule can be found online at www.wfscapitalarea.com .
