ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) - Bliss Bros. Dairy Inc. is recalling certain ice cream products, saying they could be contaminated with salmonella.

The company on Monday said the move was triggered after an ingredient supplier recalled products linked to the tainted Georgia peanut plant contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.

The Attleboro, Mass.-based company is recalling 1/2 gallons and 3 gallons of Witch's Brew as well as 3 gallons of JJ Lawsen brand Snikkers ice cream.

The products were sold in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine through scoop shops, retail stores and home delivery.

Customers who bought the recalled products should return the items to where they bout it for a refund.
