Police search for stabbing suspect

Man stabbed at car wash in critical condition

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police are looking for the person who stabbed a man at a North Austin car wash and left him in critical condition.

Officers got a call about a man who had been stabbed on North Lamar Boulevard near Thurmond Street.

The man has been taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.

Family members called police after seeing surveillance video of the stabbing, saying the suspect looked like John Richard Cadena. He is not in custody and police consider him armed and dangerous.
