CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) - North Lake Travis County Emergency Services District 1 responded late Friday morning to a fire that burned a cabinet-making shop on a residential property.
Two people had already evacuated the building when crews arrived.
The structure was blackened in part by the amount of wood that was inside the building.
The one-alarm fire at 13433 Wagon Way -- which is on the Cedar Park city limits line -- was called into the fire department just before 11 a.m., according to city of Cedar Park spokeswoman Jennie Huerta.
Dark, billowy smoke could been seen from a distance and was reported to Austin news media by nearby residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. At about 3 p.m., fire officials said it is possible that a dust explosion started the blaze.
