Small grass fire started, mailbox destroyed

GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) - A plane took a dive in Georgetown Sunday evening, making an emergency crash-landing on a residential street near the Georgetown Municipal Airport. The pilot and co-pilot walked away from the crash.

Officials said the plane lost power around 7 p.m. as the pilot was approaching the airport, and the pilot found the next best thing - the Serenada subdivsion.

Witnesses said a small grass fire started and a mailbox was destroyed, but no other damages were reported in the area.
