LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) - The Leander Police Department said Thursday night that the two missing teenagers were located together in Roswell, N..M.
Police found the 1998 Ford Explorer that was in the missing persons report.
The Leander Police Department said Tuesday it was investigating a report of two missing teenagers who may have run away.
On July 11, a missing person/runaway report was filed on 16-year-old Alexis Collins by her mother. Alexis was last seen in Leander at around 5:15 p.m. She was wearing a green T-shirt with blue denim shorts.
A missing persons report was also filed for 17-year-old Josh Plourde, police said. Ploude and Collins were in a relationship. They may be traveling in a 1998 blue Ford Explorer, Texas plates 277-NBR.
Leander police did not believe the circumstances of their disappearance to be suspicious.
