CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) - Leander Independent School District officials dealt with two lockdowns Friday morning.
Naumann Elementary and Cedar Park Middle schools were locked down -- both of which are near one another -- after receiving similar calls. Two police agencies investigated but found nothing at either school.
The elementary school's lockdown came at 9:45 a.m. as a precautionary measure when a witness said they saw someone they did not recognize on school property throw something on the ground. School workers did not find anything in the area.
Police scanned the area and before giving the all-clear for both schools.
