WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS (KXAN) - A man died Thursday night in a Williamson County crash, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
Troopers said the crash happened around 10:45pm Thursday on County Road 279 just north of McCallum Street.
Investigators think Ronald Wayne McBride, 41, was driving north when his 2004 Ford Ranger hit a guard rail. The Leander resident was pronounced dead on the scene.
A trooper’s crash report didn’t state how fast McBride was driving; but the trooper did say McBride was not wearing his seatbelt.
No other vehicles were involved. No one else was in
McBride’s truck.
