Hutto superintendent suspended with pay

HUTTO, Texas (KXAN) - Hutto Independent School District's superintendent was suspended with pay by the school board while investigation continues.

The school board called a special meeting Thursday night to discuss the recent assault charges against superintendent David Borrer.

Borrer will be on paid administrative leave for 30 days. 

Court documents show police in Hutto arrested Borrer in late February after he was accused of family violence.

No further action will be taken against Borrer until the Hutto police investigation is complete.

The board heard from Borrer as well as his wife.
