PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) - Hendrickson High School officials given the all-clear after a suspicious call placed the building on lockdown Thursday morning.

All Pflugerville ISD campuses in the area will operate on their normal schedules for the rest of the day, though there will be extra police officers at the high school all day. Officers will still be posted at the school's entrances to screen cars to make sure they are on official business.

Hendrickson Principal Devin Padavil said they are also eliminating off-campus lunch for senior to limit the in-and-out traffic.

PISD official Amanda Brim said extra security measures happened after the call that came before 9 a.m.

Students inside the building were being kept in their first-period classrooms while campus police searched the school.

"From a student's perspective, school operated as normal today," said Padavil. "I've given them the 'basics' of how today is unfolding."

Kelly Lane Middle School also went on lockdown, due to its proximity to the high school.

Even though we have no reason to believe our campus is in any danger, we are keeping students inside until the police give us the all clear," said Principal Brian Ernest. "Students will continue with their regular schedule inside the building. Since we are administering the Reading Test this morning, the students have not been affected whatsoever and testing has proceeded as planned."

Meanwhile, authorities evacuated Manor High School on Thursday morning after a suspicious device was seen in a vehicle on the campus.
