ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - Round Rock firefighters are heating up the streets at six different locations throughout the city -- all in an effort to fill their boot for a great cause.

Drivers won't see them hosing down flames at those intersections Wednesday but rather filling their boots with cash. The donation drive is all for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and it runs through Friday.

Intersections

  • Mays and Palm Valley
  • AW Grimes and Palm Valley
  • Deep Wood Drive and RR 620
  • Gattis School and AW Grimes
  • Gattis School and Mays
  • University Oaks and University

Firefighters are hoping to beat the $27,000 they collected for MDA last year.
