LIBERTY HILL, Texas (KXAN) - A serious crash has left a Williamson County Sheriff's deputy injured Monday afternoon in Liberty Hill.
Sheriff's Department spokesman John Foster said they did not know the extent of his injuries.
The two-car wreck happened on westbound State Highway 29 just west of the intersection of U.S. Highway 183 between a sheriff's car and a four-door Hyundai.
A witness to the crash, who owns a business on the corner where the crash happened, said Monday afternoon that the deputy was in a group with three other patrol cars, all of their cars' sirens sounding and headed in the same direction.
The witness commented that since the highways in the area have been expanded, there have been more crashes at that intersection than there had been before.
