ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - You might be familiar with the South Congress bats but they aren't the only bats in town.
Round Rock also is home to large bat colonies, many living in caves behind the Brushy Creek Community Center.
Saturday afternoon Round Rock will be celebrating the bats and their home at the annual Bat Fest .
The event starts at noon and lasts until 2 p.m. at the Brushy Creek Community Center.
Throughtout the afternoon you can take tours to the center's bat cave. Crafts, games and even a bounce castle will be offered to kids as well.
Everything will be free and open to all.
