Big-rig accident caused shutdown of I-35 in Round Rock

No major injuries reported

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - Southbound lanes of Interstate 35 were closed following an accident involving two 18-wheelers in Round Rock on Tuesday.

Police shut down the main lanes of the highway at Ranch Road 620 for several hours. The interstate reopened around 4 p.m.

On Monday night, the driver of a semi was critically injured after his truck hit a overpass support on I-35 near the State Highway 45 interchange in Round Rock.
