Round Rock wins communications awards

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - The City of Round Rock took home three first-place and two third-place awards at the annual Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers conference last week in Lewisville, Texas.

Taking first-place honors were the City’s Web site , its video newsmagazine, City Focus and a marketing brochure, Game On!, produced by the Round Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau .

Earning third-place awards were the City’s employee newsletter, Rock Beats and a video produced to communicate issues related to the proposed 2009 budget.

Since 2004, the City of Round Rock has won 11 first- or second-place awards in the TAMI competition.
