ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - An 18-wheeler caught fire during Tuesday night's rush hour on the southbound exit ramp of Interstate Highway 35, just north of FM 3406.
Round Rock Police Department and fire units closed off the exit ramp and frontage road to traffic.
Authorities are working on cleaning up the accident but expect the roads to reopen by 10 p.m.
One firefighter was slightly injured when one of the truck’s tires exploded due to the heat from the fire. He was taken to Seton Medical Center Williamson where he was treated and released.
