AUSTIN (KXAN) - Wet weather continues across Central Texas, with showers and possible thunderstorms Monday afternoon ahead of a strong surge of cold air.

Temperatures should drop down near freezing, but rain should clear the area by then.

Rain returns on Wednesday, and cold weather should create a possibility for a little sleet mixed with rain.

Sunshine returns on Friday through Saturday, but the rain returns on Sunday.
