I-35 reopened after three-car crash

Dump truck in accident spewed asphalt load on road

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A crash involving three vehicles and a dump truck shut down the northbound lanes of I-35 near Airport Boulevard for nearly three hours Wednesday.

The crash happened around 9:45 a.m. when authorities said the dump truck lost its load of asphalt, spilling onto the interstate.

Traffic was diverted to the frontage road during the hours crews worked to clean up the spill.

No injuries are reported.
