The Austonian tops out at 56 stories
Now one of the tallest buildings in the South

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Two years after construction of the high-rise residential tower began, The Austonian topped out at 56 stories.
At 683 feet, The Austonian is the tallest residential building in the western United States. At a celebration on Thursday afternoon, construction workers signed a 32-foot beam that will be at the top of the building.
The Austonian is at 200 Congress Ave.
