  • It is 90 percent contained as of  Wednesday morning.

  • 17 state agencies are involved, and 150 firefighters are working the blaze.
  • There were no losses Tuesday.
  • There have been no injuries, and they are not sure if, or how many, livestock were hurt.
  • Residents must register at Bee Creek Methodist Church and get wristbands, which will be needed to be let back in when it is allowed. Identification and proof of residency is needed.
  • Most current updates will be posted on the Pedernales Fire Department website.

ROAD CLOSURES

  • State Highway 71 is completely shut down at 2322. Travis County Sheriff's Office is keeping SH 71 closed from Pace Bend to the Travis County line.
