GEORGETOWN, TX (KXAN) - A runner at a cross country meet hosted by Georgetown High School collapsed and needed C-P-R Saturday.

The "Georgetown River Run Invitational" featured schools from all over the area competing at San Gabriel Park.

Georgetown ISD officials could not identify the student but they do say he was not from their district.

Two volunteers performed CPR to revive the teen after he collapsed. One witness told us the young man fell just after crossing the finish line.

Georgetown ISD says at last word the young man was in stable condition.
